What if there were a window, which when glanced through, you could see the true and twisted emotions of the world? Tran Nguyen allows such a looking glass with her phenomenal paintings and illustrations. Nguyen's use of surrealism, mythology and obviously unbounded imagination allow her to pursue, with great integrity, intense visions which leave the viewer with a sense of ecstasy and wonderment. Tran has a solo show coming up this July at Thinkspace Gallery in Culver City, CA. Hi-Fructose correspondent Zach Tutor takes a look at Tran's work below.
