Edwin Ushiro (Vol. 7) has this spooky new print available from Gallery Nucleus in advance of his participation in their April group show, Power In Numbers 3. The print, titled "It Would Have Been Selfish To Ask For More," is an 8-color process, 8" x 11", archival print in a limited edition of 30.

Mr. Ushiro is having a busy year. Right now he's showing at GR2 in Los Angeles in the big group exhibit Year of the Rat through April 16th, and he'll have work in Happily Ever After II at Suite 100 Gallery in Seattle. That show, curated by Monica Choy, is based on "the colorful illustrations of fairy tales and storybook fables." It opens April 11th and goes til May 2nd.

In July, Ushiro goes big with a solo show at project:gallery in LA. The opening reception is on July 12, 2008 from 7pm-10pm. Ushiro says, "You can expect a big installation piece and many new paintings." A preview for collectors happens on July 5.
