Gregory Euclide's work "explores the contradictions between the projection of idealized, picturesque views of landscape and our desire to have an authentic experience in nature."

His most recent work is made from a combination of photo transfers, painted images of nature, and areas of raw paint oozing from folded crevices applied to a foundation of molded, wrinkled and torn sheets of paper to form three dimensional sculptures which transform the traditionally flat representation of landscape imagery into a totally new topography.
