Audrey Kawasaki (Vol. 6) has an updated website, audrey-kawasaki.com, after almost a year (those in the know follow her every move via her LiveJournal) with a little help from her friend Trent Hamilton; new paintings, doodles, and misc are up for your viewing pleasure. Speaking of her blog, the image above is the latest painting that she posted, titled "She Who Dares." It's oil, graphite and gesso on an 18" x 21" stained wood panel. Definitely a spookier side of Kawasaki, who is known for her super-sultry nymphs on naked woodgrain, though the enigmatic nature of her characters is a constant.
