The tastemakers over at Hypebeast recently hipped us to this interesting collaborative exhibit by legends Mark Gonzales and Ari Marcopolous. Marcopolous, who was once a protege of Andy Warhol, has been a mainstay photographer in the fringe arts, documenting much of the rise of the Beautiful Losers. In this exhibit he teams up with the godfather of street skateboarding Mark Gonzales, as the Gonz takes Marcopolous' photographs and adds his own layer of drawing to the work post production.
